Thanks Rick for providing the following comments from my review:
1. Hubert: Love the idea of bringing the wall into the interior. • But it is a little static • Oblique angles would make it more dynamic 2. More dynamism in section • Floors sand pods and presentation 3. Ted: Erode the idea of floors and roof • Keep pod as floor elements – top of pods become floors 4. A little package on the street • More interesting ad disintegration of the wall • The pods on the street are directional • Need bigger versions of package to create the building • Can go on and on inside the building 5. Beth: “Love this project” • Peter Zumthor’s Roman Ruins • Steel tube entry • Question Dartmouth street wall – should be solid with no pods • They shouldn’t turn the corner with the façade. 6. Ted: Take all of your street furniture and stack it up and it becomes your building • Dartmouth Street – Double height 7. Stack of boxes becomes wall • Need more verticality 8. Incorporates the overt cost of Apple
I am the mother of 2 (ages 4 and 2) currently working on my Architectural Thesis at Boston Architectural College. I have a strong interest in youth and helping them in any way I can. My thesis began by looking for ways to assist them in the society we live in today.
